Since tulip plants are generally one of the most favorite flowers in the world, taking care of them is not really a hard task. Some may say that tulip plants are perennials and the best time to plant them in your garden is during the month of October and beginning of November advised by experienced gardeners and tulip enthusiasts.

Tulip plants require sandy soil which is necessary for their drainage system in order for them to thrive and grow. And keep in mind that if you are using planters for your tulips, you have to make sure that they drain properly to avoid your tulip bulbs to be rotted because of improper drainage.

Also, tulip plants are known to not be prone to many plant diseases but could be susceptible to Tulip Fire and this could be detected through looking at the stunted and deformed stems. Those were the signs that tell you that your plant has a disease and the best way to prevent them is to dig up all your tulip bulbs and start over.

Tulips are known to beautify any surroundings and diffuse sweet smelling aroma. So whether you enjoy them indoors or in your garden, they are a very nice addition to your surroundings.
